Storage Talk is a new blog created by Storage.com. By way of introduction, I’m Kenneth McCall and the founder of Storage.com. More than three years ago I embarked on a new adventure to make finding self storage easier, faster, more competitive for the buyer and altogether better. While looking for self storage I noticed it was fairly difficult to compare self storage in terms of quality, pricing, and even location.
Although fairly easy to find self storage – finding the features that are important to you can be more difficult. The first time I needed some extra storage, I looked for the cheapest, smallest space I could find. It was perfect. Only when I retrieved my things did I realize the location of the facility meant all my things were covered in dust and dirt. Fortunately the next time I moved and needed some storage space I was better able to find one that kept my things both clean AND safe.
Since I wanted something better and have experience in both real estate and technology I decided to improve on the process of finding storage. Storage.com has been created to help you find a personalized solution for your storage needs whether you’re new to self storage or have used it before.

- A simple, easy experience. Finding self storage is usually part of more complicated experiences like moving, expanding a business, or renovating or buying a new home. Our goal is to make finding the right storage solution easy and efficient.
Another way to provide valuable information to our customers is by launching this blog. We want to share helpful and relevant information about moving, living in small spaces, saving money.
