Self storage operator The Jenkins Organization Inc. recently purchased a storage facility in Cypress, Texas. The facility, previously Big Star Storage, will be rebranded as Cypress Self Storage. The property has 48,265 square feet of rental space, but The Jenkins Organization is looking to expand it by 55,000 more square feet.
“The Cypress Self Storage purchase fits the mold of the types of properties we are currently targeting, which are existing, well-located properties that offer expansion capability,” said company president Ricky Jenkins.
Houston-based The Jenkins Organization currently owns and manages 53 self-storage facilities in Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana.

I-80 Self Storage in Lincoln, NE Adds U-Haul Rentals
A recently opened self storage facility in Lincoln, Nebraska announced on Monday that they will offer U-Haul truck rentals. I-80 Self Storage says that this will help to streamline the moving process by having everything a mover might need in one location.
