Storage.com representative Nick Bilava made the trip to Las Vegas to attend the 2014 SiteLink User Conference this past Sunday, March 30th, where SiteLink announced some exciting changes that should be very beneficial to the storage industry.
SiteLink Rebranding
To start, SiteLink released their new branding materials, including a redesigned logo, new mobile website, and more. The updated logo is shown in the banner below.
OpenTech Alliance Partnership
SiteLink also announced that they have formed a partnership with OpenTech Alliance to provide more robust features for storage facilities through their property management system. Among the features mentioned, call tracking and the ability to screen pop information on incoming calls were a couple of the most notable.
E-Sign Capablities
Although not in much detail, there was mention of a partnership that will allow storage operators to finish the entire rental process online through digital signatures. This would be a huge benefit to storage operators and shows the continuing advancement and opportunities for facilities to rent units online.
Launch of StorageOwners.com
The launch of StorageOwners.com was also announced at the user conference. The website contains an industry directory for facility owners, making it easier to find just about any service offered to storage operators.
